FIELD CEREMONIES

Congratulations!   Your group has earned the opportunity to participate in a pre-game parade around the Warning Track of Coors Field.   Please give the following instructions to every team and every player that is participating in the parade:

·           All teams are asked to line up behind the “green” PREGAME PARADE sign.    Please have your players stand within the yellow lines.   There will be numerous teams gathering their players in this area.   In order to help you gather your players, we recommend that each coach create a sign for his/her particular team.   Remember, players may be waiting outside for a lengthy period of time prior to the parade.   Feel free to bring a water bottle if you deem it necessary.   Please leave all personal belongings with a member of your group who will not be joining you on the field.   There is no place to store bags, jackets, purses or other personal items.

  • Bag Policy:   Each person may bring only one bag, purse, fanny pack, or soft-sided cooler into the ballpark; all bags must be 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller in size.   All bags are subject to search.

  • Each participant (coach and players) must have a game ticket in hand.

  • Rockies representatives will begin directing your team to the west side of the stadium approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to game time.   Late arrivals will not be able to participate in the parade.   Late arrivals should not attempt to meet up with the rest of their team and should proceed directly into Coors Field.

  • Members of your team, including coaches, will only be allowed on the field if they are in uniform.

Important: Only two coaches will be allowed on the field with their team.   Only a coach and his/her players will be allowed past the Employee Entrance at Gate A.   All other coaches, parents, siblings, etc. must enter the ballpark at Gate A and proceed to the area from which they would like to view the parade. We would like to emphasis that while parading, everyone stay on the warning track.

·          While on the field , please do not ask for autographs or stop for photo opportunities, however you are welcome to bring cameras and video cameras to the field to record the parade.

·          Following the parade, participants will be escorted to the Gate E entrance and proceed up the stairs to the main concourse.

·          For games that feature a promotional give-away upon entrance into Coors Field, please direct anyone not participating in the parade into the gates to receive their item.   Promotional items will be reserved for those in the parade and will be distributed upon the parade’s completion.

The pre-game parade is a very special opportunity for your group to be on Coors Field and we hope to make your event a memorable one, so please be considerate of the above-listed Pre-Game Ceremony Guidelines.   Thank You!
