15-17 YEAR OLD LBL SPECIAL RULES

1.             All players must have reached their 15th but not their 19th birthday by April 30th of the baseball season.

2.             Players present at the start of the game will play at least 1/2 of the innings played. If a player does not to play his required number of innings for one game, he will start the next game and play until all required innings are played. 

3.             All pitchers will be limited to five innings per game (still subject to LBL General Rules for pitching). This will be recorded in the coach's pitching log. When a player has been removed from the pitching position, he may return as a pitcher one more time during the game. Make up games are included in the week of actual play.

4.             Games will be played with a minimum of 8 LBL registered players at all times. If a team starts with only 8 players, there is NO automatic out for what would be the 9th batting position. If a ninth player shows up during the game he will be added to the bottom of the batting order, and the team may have nine players on the field and in the batting order for the remainder of the game.

5.             Base distance will be 90 ft., & pitching distance will be 60-1/2 ft.

6.             This division will follow the rules and guidelines of the Fort Collins League. Rules that conflict to the above LBL rules, will be addressed and worked out by the LBL 15-18 Age Coordinator.
