Recreational Overview
Longmont Baseball's Recreational Program
Longmont Baseball League offers a recreational program starting mid-May through mid-July, with an end of season tournament for 9-17 yr olds and an All-Star game for 9-14 yr olds. Open to ages 5-17 yr olds, age as of 4/30/09.
5/6 yr olds ~ T-ball, 7/8 yr olds ~ Coach Pitch, 9 yr olds and up ~ Kid Pitch. Teams will controlled to a maximum of 13 players. Games are played weekday evenings and some Saturdays. Each player receives a t-shirt, hat, socks and 5 discount cards. The discount cards can be sold for $5 to reduce your registration fee. Each coach and assistant coach will be required to fill out a background check. After completion of their background check application, Checkpoint, a leading provider in background checks, provides us with social security number verification and any criminal information from the National Criminal File database.
REGISTRATION FEES: (A $10 family discount will apply for 2 or more siblings)
5/6 yr olds ~ T-ball - $90 per player
7/8 yr olds ~ Coach Pitch - $90 per player
9, 10, 11 & 12 yr olds ~ Kid Pitch - $120 per player
13, 14, 15, 16, 17 yr olds ~ Kid Pitch - $130 per player
For all recreational divisions, a $10 late fee applies to all registrations completed on or after March 15, 2009.
